I was sitting in Cem's Cayenne at TOTB (his RS was in the garage) - it's an impressive beast - ugly as sin, but a very nice toy to have! As Cem said - he couldn't think of a better way to transport 4 people at speed in luxury for several hundred miles. I wouldn't have one as my only car, but if I had 60K burning a hole in my pocket...

Had a play with a Cayenne Turbo on the way back from a rolling road day where I could not be given a reading as my car had too much torque to not slip.
The Cayenne was no pushover and the Scooby had to be worked fairly hard. It has recently done 434 on other rollers....
Underestimate at your peril.

no one forks out that cash without the performance that goes with it. These 'cars' are fast and have magnificent handling, and for those who prefer a scoob, yeah right you'd rather have a £10K_£25k jap car over a Cayenne

The Porsche Cayenne is a very nice drive indeed, however i've only driven the Porsche Cayenne Turbo (Twin Turbo) and this is one unbelievable thing!
Sounds like a beast, Handles very very well, and lowers it self at around 80mph and when speeds are reached over 100+mph it lowers it self further...
the Luxury that comes with it is top notch, mind you the one i had a drive of was was a £90,000 example fully loaded with almost every single extra you could think of including the 24" Rims
Cayenne S doesnt win my vote, but if its by Sportec or Hamann or any serious tuning company then it wins my vote!

They are so common around here (Cheshire) and they are ugly but in an impressive way but I kind of like them, 2 of our neighbours were on about getting them, 1 bought a Beetle Cabrio ? and the other replaced his silver M class Merc with another Silver M class Merc ?
