Do they still make Skylines?
If they do, what is the best website to list the current spec prices etc...
Did quite a google last night but all sites seem to talk about motors from about 5 years ago.
Cheers

Let me just clear something up..
The 'Skyline' is just like any other model with a large range of different derivatives, just like a Focus, Escort or Golf.
The specific derivative which the Skyline range is famous for is the GT-R, with AWD, Hicas rear wheel steering and 280 (310) bhp as standard. Mention the word 'Skyline' in Japan, and is has no more merit than a Focus or Golf in the UK. It's only when you add the famous 'GT-R' to the end of the name, just like RS or Cosworth in the UK, that the name has any real significance. The basic Skyline in Japan, is just a run of the mill saloon/coupe, that's all.
Now to the original question - do they still make the Skyline? The Skyline is still produced in Japan, and has a similar appearance, as stated above, to the 350Z. But, the GT-R R34, stopped production in 2002, and despite several GT-R concepts being banded about in the press, a replacement does not look likely to surface until 2007. The new car is expected to ditch the 'Skyline' name and instead be known solely as the 'GT-R'.
Anyway, we'll have to wait and see what happens..
Mart.

GTS-T and GTT's are 2.5l single turbo's (against the GT-R with 2.6l and twin turbo's)with 250-280 bhp depending on year. RWD only and not widebodied like the GT-R

Quite a lot of people still think a skylines a skyline and don't know the difference between GT-R and GTST which kinda p*sses me off as people say they own a "Skyline" then you find out its only a GTST!

Skyline GTS-T
Bit harsh on the GTS-T there mate.
HAve a look here Skylineowners.
There are a lot of GTS-T owners on there.
Remember, the GTS-T can be modded for big power and is rear wheel drive only.
There are some very nice ones out there too.

The NA is a 2.0l I believe (R32), and 2.5l (R33).
Quoted 0-60's for the none GTR turbo's are in the 6 sec range....

If the link does not take you to the page directly just go to the used cars section and search Skyline red.

mynickers - 350Z derived from 300ZX series. To make it clearer, the Japanese version of 300ZX was called Fairlady Z, and that is where the Z on 350 has come from. So to answer your question, No, there won't be GT-R for 350Z. There is a talk about making turbo version of it, though.

The 350Z is still called the Fairlady Z in Japan.
Can't see them turbo-ing for it TBH, maybe a factory S/C - reason is the new GT-R will have the turbocharged version of the engine, albeit in 3.2l guise rather than 3.5. They have to be careful what they do, as they don't want their products overlapping, especially if they overlap with their "supercar".

Sure, there are turbo kits for it etc (greddy make one), but what I meant was I can't see them doing that for a production line car, they would be treading on their own toes for the future.....
Time will tell I suppose!
