Is this with your own money? I hope not. You've just picked 3 of the most heavily depreciating cars possible (in the uk anyway)

Is this for a new car/nearly new? I'd go for the 9-5 Aero too - 250BHP if new, 230BHP (I think) if 2 years old +. I've had a fast Saab before (220BHP 9000 2.3T Carlsson) - peeps expect them to be slow and driven by old blokes with beards and pipes, so you can give quite a few people a surprise .

What about one of the Volvo S60 turbos? Not sure if a T5 would be in the price range or not?

The car will be a company car.
I need it because it might be possible that in between next year someone calls me "daddy"....
I´ve searched for a car with big space, looking good and having enough power.
These 3 have the best look in this class.
Latest in November I need a new car,and with test driving, ordering and so one...I think it´s better to go for it earlier than too late.

Prices are quite good in Germany.
The Saab around 38K€
The Subaru even.
The Pug is 32k€
(An Audi A4(!) is about 45k€!!!As the BMW 3 Series)

Thank you so far...Alex

Have you ever driven a 607? I unfortunately have and it is the most detatched driving experience ever. It really does handle like a barge - be warned!

O.k. the Pug is out!!!
5-Series??? NO WAY! My father changed time ago from E320 to a 5.... I hated it! Oversteering in a no-fun way, slow, too loud for it´s class, interior is boring as exterior... (My father has changed back es early as he could, he gave the BMW away 3 months earlier than planned and wanted me to give him my GL[little tuned] for this time!!! Any questions?)

Ah, the Volvo: I´ve got a V40. Nice car. But less space. And the V70 is not as beauty as the 850 was...

The Scoob will stay here. It´s then mostly driven by here. I can´t sell it because it´s a competion car (not on track...) and I can´t do this again on a new car.

Don't laugh!
Have you considered an ST220?

I bought an ST220 estate in Germany about 6 months ago, absolutely full spec, new price was 38,5k and I paid 29k, 6 months old with 12k kms on the clock. 230 bhp, recaro leather, Satnav bla bla bla, 3ltr V6 that sounds the dogs nads, I love it! Still has'nt fallen to bits yet either

RRP for ST220 saloon is £23,290 from ford dealer here IIRC so yes correct price.

What most mugs don't know is that you can buy at near fleet prices even as a private buyer. Also that price I stated includes delivery and metallic paint

I think you know that this is a "german" car. So there are lots of them driving here. I DON`T like driving what others do... sounds quite stupid, I know.
And the "look-factor" 9-5 against the Mondeo isn´t any question I think.
