Question BMW 320d

After reading this months What Car? (BMW 320d wins best compact executive car) I am tempted to swap my MY02 WRX PPP for one of these. I know its not going to blow my socks off like the Scoob but the midrange punch can't be far off pace with 243lbs torque to play with. Has anyone driven one? Comments please....

They go well for what they are, midrange is indeed excellent. Enough power to pull out of junctions sideways in the wet with DSC off...

Save your pennies and get the 330d instead. MattOz on here has had a couple of them now, and after owning an M5 (of all beasts) is now once more piloting a 330d. Can't be bad!

I also enjoyed my A4 TDi Quattros when I had them if you still want all wheel drive.

See my thread from a week or so ago. I was thinking along similar lines.
