I'm working in Canada, looking to buy a daily driver. I'm looking at a couple of 2000 C230K's, with about 100K kms on them.

Does anyone have any advice or warnings about them? I'm new to the Benz.

I'd buy an American car if I was over there. Why buy a high miles Merc with a pretty rough engine when you could have a nice new Mustang for about 10p.

It may cost 10p, but it's worth it Even the locals advise against North American cars because of build quality. Apart from joke historical recreations, everything here looks the same; I've got a Toyota Corolla hire car, and tried two other cars' doors before finding my own.

Have heard nothing bad about them. The 2000´s are quite good. No bigger probs (as they were ´till ´98). Only if they have luxury interior (with much electrical things) look if there is a new Battery/lightmachine(don´t know if it´s the right word) altrough this was the only big prob.
