If you're willing to travel there's one at £2750 IIRC, and one at £2950

I'm thinking of a tatty one at the moment to make into an Evo 200 Ford RS200 kitcar:

Dearest one is £55000......surely as misprint?

The one that intrigued me was a Cosworth ESCORT with only delivery miles, been stored inside since new, £27,750 or thereabouts

Why oh why oh why oh why

Cossies are one THE saddest cars......it's a sierra, no amount of driveability can make up for the embarassment of being seen in one.

someone please burn all known examples.......

Question

Before you decide to burn any, have a look at the Evo200 kitcar, based on Ford's awesome RS200, and then see.

A well constructed reply nigsy, however i don't remember the Sierra ever being given such a tag as Bugeye, Blobeye or Fugly such as a modern day Scoob! do you?

C'mon Brun, The Sierra probably had one of the most famous ever 'tags' in the history of cars. The Jelly Mould. It was rather controversial design when it first came out (remember it replaced the Cortina!)

Oh I forgot Brun, when they are being burnt, can all the working class hero cossie drivers still be in there? Now that would certainly rid the world of many a 40 year old bearded idiot....

pee, I just see a sad old shiny sierra, your cataracts must be giving you a few problems.

No female would ever go out with an idiot who owned that....unless they were a complete pooper.

Because we all buy cars to impress the laydees

The cossie was an all time great, an icon.

I would think those of us in our thirties would appreciate the Cossie, and those younger will just see it as a Sierra.

To me, it represents the great years of Rouse and Soper in the BTCC.

that 3 dr looks awesome - I had a white one, but always preferred the Moonstone.

one day I will be able to afford to keep one for summer only.

(and tis not for the ladies - as they always complain you go too fast anyway)

Bit harsh nigsy, will always remain an icon in the car world. Surely if you don't like the look you can at least appreciate the engineering?.

It's only my opinion, don't worry about it ! Plus I DO appreciate the engineering, just not the styling.

I personally loved the Rouse days, but I was about 12, things have changed, the sierra is sooooo 80's

PS I showed my girlfriend a pic of an RS500 and asked her reaction if I'd bought it.......she said she would just laugh...and to be honest, so would I.

Question

OK, fair enough, but would you both still be laughing when a tuned one left your Scoob for dead?

I could understand an RS200, looks a bit striking. but c'mon .... a metro 6R4!!? it's a metro, possibly the saddest car in existance. Would you get it in beige or brown?

Metro 6R4 is on my list of cars to buy when I win the lottery among other group B rally cars.
Anyone who remotely links cars to pulling women says a lot about themself..hmmm a real car enthusiast....
