yep lovely cars
I'm not sure which model it was but the sky blue with white was absolutely gorgeous. I wanted to get one a couple of years back and 25 grand sounds about right. they seem to be very popular on both sides of the atlantic.
do you want to get one?

Beautiful motor, comes with a 3000cc straight six engine, my dad use to own an Austin Westminster years ago and the same engine went into the Healy as my dads Westminster, A good one would be between 20K to 25K, the Healy comes with twin SU carbs, and would be rear wheel drive, a real beautiful motor I think their were 3 engine size's 2.0, 2.5 and a 3 Litre models the latter has a 2995cc six cylinder engine, try the Austin Westminster website you may get more info on their www.awoc.co.uk.

Didn't realise that they cost that much!
Still lovely cars, one of the most beautiful cars ever and often overlooked in those 'best looking car' things that the media do from time to time.
I will get one when I'm older and have more money (i.e. when I'm 80 unfortunately)

I seem to remember that the HMC Mk.IV 3.9 cost around £45k new, doubt they'll have lost much either, but they are seriously desirable cars. Modern engine and underpinnings in a very slightly modified (read beefed-up) Healey 3000 body.
Beautiful.
Okay, when i say the engine is modern, i mean its more modern than the original straight six. It is the Rover 3.9 V8 after all.
But it also makes an amazing noise, proper V8 rumble, saw one at the Kit Car Show a few years back.

I like big Healeys, i like the little ones too. Had two of 'em
for £25K i would be looking at perhaps a De Tomaso Pantera, itanlian looks and style and a bulletproof V8 drivetrian that a Ford dealership could service (if you let 'em)

Simon Lau ..... that is absolutely beautiful! Forgotten how green and white with chrome wires and winged wheel nut spinners could look so delightful. Now set as my desk top wallpaper. I'm old enough to remember when they were not a rare sight on local roads .....

deuchars, post them yourself mate with my easy to follow instructions. I've saved them for everyone that's asked about picture posting (I was once where you are ):
1. Register with a image uploader such as http://www.photobucket.com (I found this image photobucket user friendly and it's free but you can use others)
2. Upload your image to your photobucket account (image sizes must not be larger than 250KB but it will automatically resize images if they exceed this size)
3. Once the image is uploaded, open the full size image in photobucket
4. Right click on the image, select properties and the properties window will open
5. Copy the image address URL (image code) from the properties window
6. In your Scoobynet post, paste the image code that you just have just copied in between the following text "[ img ]" and "[ /img ]" (but without the spaces between “[]" or see the Scoobynet BBS code syntax on the left of your reply page for more details)
Note:sometimes the resolution of resized images is greatly reduced compared to the original image so try to reduce your image to 250KB before uploading
and bob's your uncle

you've got to wait for all of your file to be uploaded...are you on 56K dial up? it will take along time (forever) if you are!
testing your image:
[*img]http://img11.photobucket.com/albums/v34/deuchars_1/healey/5c7c3cac.jpg[*/img]
in the above just delete the star "*" (no need to do anything else) and you image should be uploaded!
