Porsche 911 turbo info...

Can anyone point me to some information on Porsche 911 turbo's , about 5-6 year old ones. Info , specs .. pics etc..
Went out with my dad for dinner today and he informs me he is buying one .... doubt i would be ever be allowed to drive it.

Nothing to touch it on the road. You will find good photos and specs for 993 and 996 variants on : www.rennlist.com; www.flat-6.net; www.pistonheads.com.

996 Turbo introduced in 2000 (X) so still only 3 years old or so.
Starting to look good value now too - I saw a 3 year old one on a dealer forecourt for £65 recently & my local specialist said that they would this year be selling used 996 Turbo's for £58-60k which is tempting.....
So 5 years old you will be looking at a 993 model. A local specialist recently had 2 mint ones in with below average mileage - they went for £45k each I believe.
I looked at the blue one before I bought the 996 & doing my homework was put off somewhat by the running costs & interior.
Having said that they look the boll0cks & are a little quicker than the 996 turbo I believe.
