Hi there,

I'm starting to do up my 2000 Renault Clio MTV but not too sure on just a few things:

1-Gear **** - Will I need to hacksaw it off?
2-Gear **** - What is the best reverse lift replacement to buy?
3-Handbrake & Gaitor - How does the original handle come off?
4-Foglights - I have been quoted £160 for them inc Fitting, does
anyone know of a cheaper way that won't invalidate my Warrenty?
5-Kick Plates - Any cheaper than £25 for non Renault ones?

Oh also, I have grey interior so I don't want any additions to stand out that much! Would black look ok?

Any idea's would be great!

Thnx,
Becky

- Lexus rear clusters
- 5, no make it 6 inch tail pipe and back box
- Paint your heater vents silver or red (color code to your body work)
- TV screen
- Sparco racing buckets
- 18 inch wheels.. er RIMZ.

There you have it, the top 6 reasons to buy a sub 2 litre Clio!

first off, if you pull and twist the gearknob hard enough you should get it off ok. not being sexist at all here but sometimes they are a right b*stard to get off so you might want someone strong to help you here. if you cant then just hack it off.

its all personal taste with gear ***** really as there are loads out there.. try richbrook, momo or, my personal choice sparco stuff.

with regards to fog lights £160 to buy and fit depends on whether your front bumper needs modifying to accept them. if it does then it sounds fair but if not then i would shop around.

I have been told that my bumper comes with all the wiring for the conversion but I just need the fogs and protectors etc. Then someone to fit it for me.

Just having my new Sony CDX-M1000TF Headunit fitted so want to get other stuff sorted asap

Won't my gear **** look silly being chrome or black with a grey stick & grey gaitor? :{

Been on there and they have some good stuff but not really any help for me!

Got my new Sony in now and it looks great.....can't wait to get a new amp and see what it really sounds like

So has anyone actually done this work to a Clio?
