Got our freshly imported '94 GTFour yesterday. Was excited enough, but it looks like it's the WRC/Group4 version. Only problem is it's now sat on the drive while we get all the paperwork etc done... I just want to drive it!

If you're after any advice on the gt-Four's try the GT4OC on.... www.GT4OC.com
As for pads I've been told that Porterfield pads are brilliant which is what I'll be getting for my 4 next..

no 4wd turbos allowed as of 1/1/04 mate... gutted... i'll be using the fiesta though...
news so far on GTFour:
changed the sparkplugs, oil filter, oil tomorrow when i get a new sump plug as the thread is stripped, flushing the rad as i type, ready for new antifreeze tomorrow, relocated flow meter and binned sha9ged hose on inlet side of turbo, removed intercooler and discovered a big split in the hose onto the throttle body, new pads all round, cleaned up disks, painted all the calipers matt black to aid heat dissipation, rejigged exhaust hanger at the back, started installing cold air feed, discovered she has a distributor so should be able to retard slightly to eliminate pinking, got the stereo working, adjusted the headlamps, washed her twice and spent £140 on fuel....
...and i'm still not bored!

hmm.... lots of white smoke started coming out the back, but i think i've tracked that down to the oil breather filter being really restrictive. howeevr, b4 i tracked that down, the pressure popped the cam cover seal, pi55ing oil all over the manifold and turbo.... very very nearly had a fire!:eek!:
guess my rings are not so good by the amount of crankcase pressure i've got...
then again i was playing with the bleed valve... but only took her up to 0.6 bar... wouldn't go any higher even if i wound it out more,.. could this just be down to the bleed valve being puny?
