I borrowed my bro's polo today as it is better on fuel than mine! I went through a big flood and it cut out. I got it started eventually but now it is making a horrible loud ticking noise and pops and bangs it doesn't sound good at all....any ideas what is wrong?
Thanks peeps
Stuart

Perhaps its the clock and the anti-lag system ?

Seriously, sounds like wet iginition, dry it all off and spray some WD40 around, other than that pray it hasnt ingested any water as it doesent compress very well (i.e. not at all) and it can cause big problems.
