hello
had a hands free kit fitted to the car and as a result need to audio code for it - i don't have it and neither does the previous owner. anyone know if you can phone up and find it out or how you are supposed to get round this?
it's very dull driving around with no radio...

sometimes you can work it out if you get the no.s off the stickers that are on the top of the unit this only works if it's a tape player tho as peugeot got wise to it and removed them from the cd players

as long as the dealer can sort it then that's not too bad. i once lost the keys for a meastro van (what a class vehicle that was), and got a copy from a dealer but did it fit?
did it come with aircon as standard?
'course not.

just spoke to the local dealer - they say that they will have to take the radio out, get the SN, get the number from some central place and then charge me £30 . I think i will try to find out who the original dealer was...

yeah, i's the tape player. the pug dealer was good enough to give me the details of a local decoder, he had it out and plugged his gizmo into the circuit board and hey presto, your code is XXXX. Not too bad for £15. Personally I think these codes are a waste of everyone's time as the crims figure out how to fix them before the maunfacturers do.
BTW Carl - you owe me a pint
