Noticed a couple of comments about problems with Vanos on the VTEC thread. My old MCoupe (now owned by a friend) is having problems. Dealer quoted £2k to fix and warned of more expensive problems if he continues to use it.

Anybody know much about this or can point me in the direction of info about such failures?

There have been loads of threads about VANOS on here IIRC...

Just do a wee search and have a look for yourself mate!

BM3W will give you more advice if you need it tho...
