Diablo's comparison post on the Classic Scooby and Integra Type-R, as this is a decision I hope to be making soon myself.

I have it on the favorites list at home, just not here at work.

Any help much appreciated...

Chers,
Grant

BTW, thanks for making me search for it! I was about to look for that sort of thing myself!

I maybe test driving one over the weekend!

Thanks mate... That is EXACTLY the one I was talking about!!

I'd be interested in seeing what your thoughts on the ITR are after driving one, I havent driven one as yet but would be a later one, probably a MY00 as I quite like them in black!

Cheers,
Grant

I've never driven one before, so as long as they haven't sold it I'll post my findings over the weekend! The one I plan to look at is a MY00 in red with air con.

I can compare it against the various Subarus I've owned before.

Well I have never owned a Scooby or an Integra, I am currently driving a Series 2 RS Turbo but due to a new job I can now experience a quick AND reliable car and these are the options I have come down to!!

I'll keep my eyes out for your review post on Monday then Andy!!

Cheers,
Grant

Jammy Bugger...

I can only find white ones up round my way, and living out in the stix it just isnt too practical driving a white car!!

Also prefer the classier finish of the black, however, I could be convinced to have a wee look at a red one. Air-Con is a must, cause I nearly fried in the summer that we have just had without it!! lol

Grant

Red face

Just found a black MY00 with air con about 60 miles from me, but it's near my fiancees brother, so maybe a family visit this weekend!! £10,500 from a non-Honda dealer!

The red ones are £13-13.5k with more mileage from Honda dealers!

Sounds good mate...

10.5k, for a black one with low miles and Air-Con, hmmmm, wish I could find one of them up my way!!

Grant

I believe the white ones are worth more as white is the Honda racing colour

You are right about white being the Honda racing colour, but as to being worth more, I don't think so. Red and black are rarer, so normally command a slight premium.

I've heard that these colours were chosen as they are the lightest paints!!!

Hmmmm, lightest paints!!

However, black bodywork will absorb more heat and so produce more power due to no heatsoak issues...

That's why they are flat colours, they weigh less than metallic paints!!!

Oh, unlucky mate...

Just like to say, I drove my mates 300bhp WRX @ Crail 1/4 Mile yesterday, and oh my god, I thought that they were over-rated, but actually driving it....... I couldnt get the smile off my face for hours after!! Still cant!!

Cheers,
Grant
