Mitsu annonced new Evo8 with 330 BHP, existing owners can upgrade!

why would they need to when the spec C already exists? The power difference is negligable.

neilo,

Because the Evo is a proper UK car with a warranty from Mitsubishi, rather than the Spec C where you can have an aftermarket warranty and no main dealer support!

(ECU only) 330bhp, 320lbft
When I looked at buying an EVO a few months back my local Mitsi Ralliart dealer said they were trying several FQ Powerpacks from the usual FQ-300 up to and over an FQ-380.

However he pointed out all the cars he had seen were melting diffs.

Yep I could swap the RA and get an extra 8bhp/ton . I wonder if you can actually feel an extra 8bhp/ton ?

That does assume 1410kgs for the EVO though if the extra kit weighes a lot then that 8bhp/ton will be less .

I'd rather spend money on an overpriced ecu (with warranty) than a personalised number plate.
