Mitsu annonced new Evo8 with 330 BHP, existing owners can upgrade!

I wonder if Subaru will rise to the challenge!

I'll be up for it...

why would they need to when the spec C already exists? The power difference is negligable.

Because the Evo is a proper UK car with a warranty from Mitsubishi, rather than the Spec C where you can have an aftermarket warranty and no main dealer support!

When I looked at buying an EVO a few months back my local Mitsi Ralliart dealer said they were trying several FQ Powerpacks from the usual FQ-300 up to and over an FQ-380.

However he pointed out all the cars he had seen were melting diffs.

Oh i know somone who put his spec C on the rollers he got:

310bhp 300lbs of T

E8 FQ300 on sames rollers got 335bhp and 310 lbs of t

I wonder what the upgrade ECU would really do as well as a decat

Yep I could swap the RA and get an extra 8bhp/ton . I wonder if you can actually feel an extra 8bhp/ton ?

That does assume 1410kgs for the EVO though if the extra kit weighes a lot then that 8bhp/ton will be less .

I'd rather spend money on an overpriced ecu (with warranty) than a personalised number plate.
