Must be your car then
Rather not say where I work on a public BBS - Just me being paranoid!!
Suffice to say it's on the IOW, and it's name has changed quite often in the last few years.
We're having a Scooby gathering the last weekend in September. (See the Southern section) Wouldn't mind seeing a couple of new faces along
BTW, a Scooby owning friend of mine (also IOW based) is doing a Mi16 conversion on his old 205. He frequents the BBS here too, surprised he hasn't shown up yet

When I see a Dimma 205 (not many about nowadays) I go, whoaaa, cool and then have a word with myself, when they came out they were the dogs, then they looked naff for a couple of years, now I reckon they are retro and well cool with a hint of ALi G
I would keep the 205 !
Any pictures perchnce ?
Used to be a mint one in Timperley/Altrincham, mettalic red with big split rims, more heads turned per mile than any Ferrari.

DOn't put the 2.0 Mi in a 205, its cast iron and too heavy, also less power But more tuning potential. However, throws the dynamics out coz of the weight..........
The 1.9 Mi is an alu block (and more power standard than the 2.0 Mi) weighing not much more than the 1.9 8v - thats what you want to put in.

Pearl white? Hmm, can't be many of these about...
Do you live down south? And have had a small problem with valve caps in the past?
I believe I've seen this car in the same work car park as my Scoob - (A MY96 turbo in drastic need of body shop attention )
My vote is definitely the Mi16 in the 205 if it's the car I think it is

Yep - green with gold wheels, a missing front splitter and some dodgy paint work, but the mechanicals are in good order ...
Don't know Ben Colenutt, but probably work in the same place - I don't know everyone there yet...
I know of Blowy, but never had a chance to speak properly. I see his Scoob around a bit.
Good news that Milly road is open again - looking forward to testing my new suspension bits next week

Yeah chuck the 16v lump in the Dimma.
I had an Mi 16 when I was a poor ol student, spent 2years saving for one. But boy was it worth it.
It's a great engine let down a bit by the weight of the 405 shell.
I nailed the tats off of mine for 2years and it took everything I could give it. Then let my mum have it and she blew it up with in a couple of months driving it like a granny....
