A lad at work here has a Mondeo (S reg) and there is a problem whereby the fuel gauge is stuck on 3/4 and the speedo isn't registering any speed or miles.
He's taken it to a local "fast fit" Ford garage and they've told him that a new circuit board is needed, at a cost of £257 !!
Anyone know is this is a rip off, or if the part can be sourced cheaper etc.
I'll post the part number later when he gets the full low down from the garage.
Any help / advice would be appreciated.
(The poor spud can't really afford this with a new potato on the way...)
