Just wondered if anyone on here have had any experiences with, or have even owned a mondeo st200?
Still looking for a possible, more sensible scoob replacement (got to buy a house in the not too distant future). I noticed that you can pick st200's up for as little as £8000!
On paper they seem pretty impressive..........for a mondeo, and mondeo's are renowned to be the best made fords ever.
Any comments on them are most welcome.
Cheers,
Steve

Nice motors, obviously not as quick as a turbo but smooth engine and plenty torque for normal driving.
Try and get a limited edition one, these are 4-door so look better and have the blue inserts on the leather seats, steering wheel and gearknob - see the pic below. Not much of a price premium over a standard model, although there were only around 300 official UK ones.

Hiya,
Had one for about 18 months.
Was fine for pottering about in and easy to drive.
But when it developed problems (known about problems) the dealer
wouldn't accept there was anything wrong and even if there was
couldn't fix it.
I wouldn't buy another one.
Cheers
