That's about right

You may save a 2-3 grand if you import it yourself.

Here's a nice example I found recently on the net.

Nissan Skyline R34 GTT

Mozza, £14k is about right...

They are RWD, Single turbo, but they do have the HICAS (steering) as fitted to the GTR so handle well. The standard engines can be modified up to 400bhp with too much hassle (but no where near as easily as GTR).

They can be had from around the £11k as imports but the one above will be £16k by the time Taxes/SVA are done so not a bargain.

dont confuse this car with the all singing all dancing skyline you saw Tiff and Clarkson throw around on TV - different cars this is not an R34 GTR - you wont find one for much less than 35k

Good cars IMHO. A bit heavy, but handle well out of the box. Some decent pads and rubber make for a very capable car. As mentioned, RB series motors take mods well.

The std turbo is a bit weedy, and you'll hit its limit fairly early if modding seriously. If you leave it alone or soft rune, you'll keep the fast spool (although it can go a bit soft up top).

I've no idea about the price vs perf, bang for buck thing in the UK, but IMHO are a good, fun car.
