A few will insure you at 19 (at a price). Most companies will insure you at 21 and this is when you're most likely to get a realistic quote.
Same for any car group 14 or higher.

My Clio 172 last year was £800 23 with 3 years NCD so a CTR at 19 will be a p!ss take.

I'll be paying £1970 fully comp on a standard VTS...as soon as I can find a decent one. ( Not sure how long it'll stay standard for though...hehe )

I'm 18, been driving a year and 4 months, had one totally non fault accident with police witness, post code isn't that good, no NCB and the car is group 14.

Only downfall is that the insurance company won't let me pay monthly, only in one hit. They're the only company that hasn't laughed down the phone though

What insurance group is a CTR in?

Rich

Iraq, well close, Edmonton, North London! second highest insurance area in the country so i'm told!

My first car, an MG Metro, was £800 TPFT

£1460 FC on the scooby, and then about £200 more now its been modded

I had a quote on an F355 which was £1200 just to give you an idea. My scoob costs me £1100 . CTR was about £50 full comp , just joking.

@jonny32, was all I could afford when I got my license 6 years ago! It wasnt just any metro, I skimmed the head and rebuilt it all, never drove the same again tho! and that hydro suspension, better than a scooby any day
