It was an interesting programme. Saw it a couple of nights ago. I don't envy Simon Nearn's job though. Having grown up in Coulsdon and Caterham, I've always had a soft spot for them. Graham Nearn (Simon's Dad and the previous MD, now chairman of Caterham Cars) used to go to my school and he would often come back and give talks - always turning up in a tasty Caterham
Porsche found it damn near impossible to replace the 911 and I think Caterham will have the same problem. I liked the ideas they came up with at Reynard, but I just can't see how they were going to do it at a reasonable price and still make a profit.
I hope it works out for them as it would be a great shame to see them go under.
