2am - 2.50am in the morning on channel 3 there is a documentary on performance cars....not a clue what it will be like but you never know....might be worth a look......that is unless you drive a Cosworth as you'll be tucked up in bed by then

I taped it except for the last 10 min or so (ran out of tape so hope they did not feature a Scoob there ).

Will watch tonight and post if there's anything worth talking about.

 

OK, here's a brief report...

They featured 3 cars: Ferarri, Porche and Corvette. Some exciting camera work especially from inside the car. In additional to technical questions they also touched upon driver's feelings and physiology i.e. increased heart rate and the feeling of pleasure which comes from CONTROL of the car and feeling part of it - exactly the reason why I've chosen a Scooby over Lexus 200!

 

I am sure I have seen this programme a while ago. They wired up a white haired guy (about 50ish). Was this the same programme ?

yep, thats the one...it was produced for the discovery channel so will have been on sky at some point....

A nice balance of good car footage along with the right level of technical/physiological input......
