War reading a car mag the other day and it said that BMW are about to release the M3 CSI early in 2003. Does anybody know what differences there are between this CSI and the normal M3 ?
Cheers !

I think its "CSL" not "CSI"- changes include last I read- lighter carbon fibre panels- F1 style active air intake +10% torque/BHP, SMG only semi auto transmission- this was on a pre-production model round the 'ring- was supposed to be similar times to a Porsche 996 and 8 secs quicker than the standard M3 round the track- they are also meant to have improved the steering feel

I have to say that does look very impressive ! I quite like the M3's myself. Any word on prices yet, or indeed when its available ? I have a friend ready to order a new M3 and I told him I would try and find out a little about this before he ordered it.
