Guys the Z is a classic and they are cheap and they are very tunable. The manual spins wheels in any gear, even at 100mph.
The Mazda RX-7 is one beautiful car though. It is by far one of the best looking cars ever. I was tempted but too many people warned me off,too many engine rebuilds required.
Ive had a 300ZX before, then a Porsche 911, then a Subaru(i had to join in with all the fun), then i went onto the EVO(superb car,but requires too much looking after), then went back to a Porsche 911 and now sold that and im going back to the 300zx. Ive ordered one straight from Japan with loads of toys on it.

Don't do the 300zx!!
Some jap cars come with a flare and an umbrella, the 300zx comes with emergency chest wig and medallion in the passenger footwell
Seriously though, get an RX7, beautiful
And when I was at se nissan last year I must have seen about 10 come in with troubles, the guy there said they are good for business.
all IMO ofcourse

Look for a Nissan 300zx 1991 onwards as they have been revised slightly. My old Z never went wrong mind you i only drove it 8000 miles.
MPG on the motorway put in £20 to get from Milton Keynes to Bradford, distance 170 miles. Its not too bad on a long run.
Local normally 18-20 MPG. Great drivers car though, great chasis. Loads of power and grunt. The 3000GT doesnt really do it for me, too electronic for me. The RX7 is a beast same fuel economy as the Z,but more expensive to buy.
Choice is yours. Make sure you buy a car with a blower on it though. Cant beat the feeling.

POC i was after a manual and i found a few but they were a bit more expensive at £5000, if interested mail me and i will forward some numbers onto you. There was a 1991 black twin turbo manual with 18" alloys and exhaust conversion for £5000.
Manual is a much better car.

Looks like people might be starting to appreciate that nissan actually make good cars other than the skyline..... about bl00dy time
Grandad,POC,
If neither of you guys are interested in the black Manual (and it's for sale anywhere near halifax) i'd be grateful for the details.
cheers.

Followed a silver beastie back into Nottingham this evening...
Big and noisy twin exhausts and lots of Blitz and HKS stickers.
Seemed to enjoy holding everyone up on the 610 then booting it away from the lights

Mates got a 300ZX and is selling it and a nissan skyline non turbo to buy a RX7. I like the 300s and was debating about buying one. They are quite cheap but loads of fun!!
If you are still interested POC, email me and ill find if he is still selling it or if he has sold it. His old one was an auto but not sure if this one is auto or manual. Quality down the motorway though, very fast and feels nice and secure

My mum has a 300zx convertible, it's a 2 seater, not a 2+2
The N/A is pretty quick, no match for a scoob but still fun to drive.
The 3000GT's are dogs, 1/4 mile times of 15 seconds as standard from a 3 litre twin turbo. Very vague to drive, no fun at all.
I got one as an extended test drive when looking to change the FTO, was really disappointed.
