Got a silver one. Its fan-fapping-tastic
Have a go in one, you won't be disappointed. If you have owned a scoob then the build quailty is a vast improvement too

they are good, i was in the market for something cheaper than my p1, was only offered 20k against a clio cup 172, tried an ordinary 172, didnt like it, tried a sti 7, liked it, offered 24k, tried a ctr after ordering my sti, liked it but only offered 21k part x, a cracking car for the money, black i would have gone for or silver if you dont wash it much !

They are very good. Think the majority of build problems are just rattles. Who cares, drive it, puts a smile on your face. Very good car for the money.
Oh, and Silver, unless you really enjoy washing your car. A lot!

I had the please of a loan of 1 at work for a week.
Fantastic in the dry (could even spin the wheels in 1st n 2nd still), noise was tiring on long journeys (ended up wearing ear plugs) & plain scary in the wet.

The noise isnt too bad IMO - i do 30k a year in mine!
And in the wet you just have to be a little careful - as with any powerful FWD. I've driven Castle Coombe in torrential rain in one, and barring a couple of heart-in-mouth moments up Avon Rise at 130 it was fine ;-)

Mine's silver (easily the best colour!)
Now wearing imported JDM tinted windows, BMC Carbon Dynamic Induction kit and Magnex CATback exhaust system.
I bought it with A/C, Type-R mats, in-dash autochanger and tweeter kit.
It's got 18.5k on the clock and I'm still on the original front tyres (although just!) and it's returning around 32mpg on average even though I don't have to pay for my petrol.
Couldn't be happier really.

I kept up with a rather tasty blue Ferrari 575 on the A34 last Monday all the way from Basingstoke to the M4 roundabout.
It took us only two hours to do the whole drive sometimes at speeds well in excess of 15mph

Keep up with a Noble M12 ? Hardly
Think you have the wrong person mate, never been on track in the CTR or any other car.
Just for info, my fronts lasted 16.5k.

Some of the stories on the honda civic type R BBS seem a bit far fetched like some of them doing 150mph in there type R's on public roads, and the amount of WRX's they claim to waste, not denying civic type R is a fantastic car and one on there i would never mess with as it hads NOS on board but 150mph in a standered Civic type R is that possible

146 thats what honda claim but lets be realistic how many cars do what the manufacturer says they can do top end ?? mmmm.
After 125 by how much is that speedo out.
Be nice though if it did get my hovis earlier

My mate has a new one, and it's not as quick as my standard UK spec scooby. He would probabley beat me a bit on top end though according to the stats.
