Great little cars to drive, can be a bit flimsy interior wise. Really highly rated by most.
I wouldnt have said they were muppet cars, but then I may be wrong?

Even the 16V ones are smart little cars, my friend has a nice black one in his garage that he is rebuilding, I drove it while back and it was a cool little car.
Williams isnt Max Power, its a nice car.

not meaning to offend any owners - but all the ones I see
seem to be owned by teenagers or early 20's
who are the leaning forward or out of the window brigade.
any opinion on this as against a Clio 172

I don't think I've ever seen anyone like that driving a Williams. I think they're great looking cars, and shouldn't be confused with 16v lookielikies, with gold wheels. Allways highly acclaimed by the motoring press, build quality isn't bad... just French

my mate had a williams 1 and they are little crackers - ideal for twisties as it has a super balance of power to handling ratio.
They usualy eat wheel bearings IIRC

My brother had one with a full magnex+k+n induction and they go very well indeed
Struggle for traction as they are front wheel drive and dont like pulling of in the wet.
