Great little cars to drive, can be a bit flimsy interior wise. Really highly rated by most.

I wouldnt have said they were muppet cars, but then I may be wrong?

Davey P 17 October 2002 02:02 PM

They look pretty cool because they look different to the rest of the range

TomM 17 October 2002 02:07 PM

Even the 16V ones are smart little cars, my friend has a nice black one in his garage that he is rebuilding, I drove it while back and it was a cool little car.

Williams isnt Max Power, its a nice car.

not meaning to offend any owners - but all the ones I see
seem to be owned by teenagers or early 20's
who are the leaning forward or out of the window brigade.

any opinion on this as against a Clio 172

TomM 17 October 2002 03:27 PM

lol @ DAC!!! :D

Very true!!!

Monk 17 October 2002 06:25 PM

DAC if you looking at it like that then you're missing out on a great little car

Ex_Pug 17 October 2002 07:27 PM

I don't think I've ever seen anyone like that driving a Williams. I think they're great looking cars, and shouldn't be confused with 16v lookielikies, with gold wheels. Allways highly acclaimed by the motoring press, build quality isn't bad... just French :)

Had a williams 3 before the subaru.

Williams was a great car, very well balanced and pretty rapid

Nice little car with plenty of poke. I've only driven one once, and I liked the cart-like handling. Get it!

what would scooby do 20 October 2002 02:35 PM

my mate had a williams 1 and they are little crackers - ideal for twisties as it has a super balance of power to handling ratio.

They usualy eat wheel bearings IIRC

My brother had one with a full magnex+k+n induction and they go very well indeed :D

Struggle for traction as they are front wheel drive and dont like pulling of in the wet.
