Ferrari F355 Spider
#1
Local dealer has 1998 Ferrari F355 Spider for sale.
Its done 20,000 miles and took part in the US Cannonball rally.
Its got the F1 paddle shift Rosso red with cream interior.
They put it up at £65k but have dropped it to £53k as they need the space.
Its a genuine one owner local RHD car.
Very tempting.
At this price the depreciation would be minimal over the next five years Just the servicing to worry about
Dealer is also offering very good financing deal on it. Basically they are getting 355 being traded in regularly now that all the 360 Spiders are being delivered. They have to take the part exs but there is only a limited market for these trade in.
The least I can do is borrow it for an extensive test this weekend.

The black one is at Forza288 in Bournemouth.
I came over to England especially to view this one and the 348 Spider he had in stock a few months back.
I was told the 348 had done 20k miles and was rated 8/10.
It had done 40,000+ km and in only average condition. The interior plastics had been out at some point as the screws were marked and the fittings were loose. There was a slight oil leak as well More like 5/10 or 6/10 at best.
The Jersey RHD car is much better value than the black LHD one.
How did it drive. It was raining when I got there soI didn't try it.
I will definately get one but it must be the right one

Sorry RichB, just re-read your post.
The red 355 RHD is at my local dealer , Five Oaks, the official Ferrari dealer for the Channel Islands. Hence my comment about all the 360s being sold. Bit too common over here!
If I don't head to France in the morning on my Ducati then I'll take the 355 out.
If I decide to pass on it, then I'll post the details of the dealer if you want.
