I think you'll find that the ATR's a surprisingly capable car. It'll get to 60 in the mod sixes, it'll handle well and VTECs are great fun. A bit of a Q car in some ways.

By the way, how the ---- did Auto Express manage to test a Type R to 0-60 in 7.8 seconds recently ? (probably avoided the Vtec zone)

Almost as bad as the 6.3 seconds they recorded for the Impreza Turbo in 2000 when everyone else got 5.1-5.6

Laugh? why? he's got a really quick, well nice car that will cost about half of what the preza did to run.
Better built too, and interior is wicked.

One thing, a VTEC controller like APEXI, that controlls fuel/air mixture, and VTEC engagement point would be an excellent idea for that car.
That will get rid of the difficulty people find with staying in VTEC between gear changes.
