Same sort of thing, but even cheaper than a westfield, they are generally made of bits from the cheaper end of the market, the few that I have seen second hand have been very cheap, so I'd watch as they appear to depreciate, so if you plan on selling it again at the end of summer it may be more difficult to get rid of. But if you can find a well built one you will enjoy it. There is a yahoo group (or similar) for them, if you want I can check see if I still have the e-mail I got sent when I was looking at them.
As a side note, none of these sort of cars are particularly reliable, so ideally you need some mechanical knowledge, or a mate who does, for when things break / stop working / fall off.

Locosts constantly win the 750MC bike-engined championships. I think Locost themselves went into liquidation, and Locosts are made of very small bits (like you have to weld bits of angle iron together), unlike Caterhams and Westfields which are made of bigger bits. MK Engineering are well-respected for building Locosts -- I know they do pre-built, but I think they may do a 'bigger bits' kit Westfield/Caterham stylee.
