Take it to a specialist place such as RC Developments.

Also, I have been reliabley informed that Mitsubushi dealers don't use the right oil filters, so they're doing it wrong anyway.

Pay someone else less money to do a right job!

£223 for what looks to be an interim?

What do you get for that?

No, the oil filter myth is wrong, they do use the correct filter.Maindealer serving is expensive.

Best off using a independant specialist.

Back....

So there you have it, that was my last bill for the Evo6. Your looking at more time than for any other car because of the AYC fluid replacement in the rear diff, so thats easily costing £40+ in labour alone.

The thing that narks me about the above bill, i just bought 4lts. of Shell Ultra that they`ve always used on the car, and it cost £29.99 (inc.VAT).They were charging me £41 without VAT!!!

Thats dealerships for you, i now use a specialist, BTR at Pontefract, and supply my own engine oil!

Once you drive the Evo though, the costs of servicing arent so hard to bear

I get my E5 serviced at my local Mitsi Garage in Scotland and I only get charged around £160, which includes VAT!! for the 4500 service. You've got to shop around.

And I get mine cheaper still because I don't have the AYC fluid to change.
Ahhh, the joys of owning an RSX.

BTW, got my 45,000 service due next month. Not looking forward to the cost of that one!!!!!!!
