In-gear performance - the real deal
I was provided an opportunity (unfortunately it was very short and not great conditions - but hey ho) to complete some VBOX logging at a facility on Monday, with my modded A45.
The results attained have been pretty eye opening...... jesus these cars are quick when modded.
Whilst I appreciate this is not "in-gear" per se, it will have to do until I do my next project update, as an "indication".
0-100 mph was circa 8.6s...... in a "lightly" modded hatchback. And that was with some traction issues because of conditions.

That's bloody quick and where it really counts for slinging it down a B road, be interest to know how it performs from around 30mph to 90mph must be blistering, as for me that's the "Zone" for a play on the private roads I frequent, also any faster and things start to get a little silly/ dangerous.

The best figures are yet to come.....
That 0-100 time was based on a start that only achieved a 0-60 in 4s dead (grip levels were bad on that run). I've already achieved VBOX 0-60 times of 3.7s. So you can make an educated guess as to how that will change the above 0-100 time.
These cars are pretty damn quick, with the right mods.
The speed of the box and axle torque bias (via Haldex) is the real key here. If I have the power whacked up "proper", god only knows what performance will be accessible.
These A45's are like the modern replacement for the Nissan Pulsar GTIR, in relative performance terms. Those things were unbelievably fast back in the day.

Why.... were you going to pay for it!
They are very quick cars, but I preferred the A45 as a complete package. It just happens to have 5 doors and a hatchback as an added bonus (and fits in the garage lol), but it still quicker than most other things out there.

My almost two tonne Audi manages 8.4 to 100mph standard, but it does have something similar to two Golf R engines bolted together. With equivalent traction conditions to that Motortrend test I expect you'll surpass it, and a standard 2009 GTR (if any are still standard).

what bhp / weight?
got any 30-130 times? I think this is a good measure of power without traction problems. However powerful cars probably have to start in 2nd as 1st will run out about 35/40 and slow the overall time.

scoobyc,
Not yet..... need to get down to Bruntingthorpe.
60-100 is being seen in 4.65s ...... which is pretty rapid.
Stu,
And we all love fast cars.

I'll have a look at the log tonight and post the screenshot of the result.
However, in your M3 with that power, I'd hope you'd be making mince meat of me.

i must say I've only ever done 2 launches one with the stock 360 and one with the RENNtech unit, first one was exciting as id never done one before.
However when i did the 2nd the road was slightly damp, i thought i was gonna tear the rubber off it was that mad..... kinda bouncing a little.....
Look forward to the updates, does make you think that Luke @ RENNtech with the 460BHP version must be manic, and he's so close to 500... think gearbox maybe the worried party then... go for 500 Shaun LOL
