what car?
Hey,
Looking for a new motor, the mrs is learning to drive and we need something cheap to insure and run...
Requirements -
Enough room for our bullmastiff puppy to travel in it.
Good for carrying horse food etc (spacious)
Small engine,
Reliable
Cheap to insure
Something that I'm not going to be upset if she dings it etc...
Looking to spend up to 2k, so far I've been thinking a daihatsu terios, perfect for the dog, 1.3ltr, cheap tax etc, big tyres for when she tries kerb surfing, the horses are out in the sticks so 4wd is a big bonus etc.
Or a renault modus, but personally anything with a renault badge concerns me...
The car is mainly for her to use as a first car and for commuting etc. I will rarely use it at the weekends

Looks good, shed like the colour too.
I've been racking my brains and I can't think of anything similar to this really... The modus seems a good choice too, but it doesn't have 4wd and has the questionable renault wiring and engines....
I wouldn't mind so much if nissan supplied the engines but a renault engine must be asking for trouble

legacy estate.
£2k would get you a nice (ish) one, and they just about take 6 bales of hay.
