I have a 59 plate 530d and have some silly prosport map on the car, it makes 265bhp and 570lbs? and its not very good. I'm considering driving down to Evolve to get the car mapped there or is emaps a similar power map once done?


I'm not bothered about economy or what ever I just want who will give me the most bhp!

I rang Pat up last year and he recommended Simon from emaps yet when I got in touch with emaps they palmed me off to another garage in Edinburgh who was only interested in me driving up to him. I have no spare time with work and when I do its within days so was of no use to the lad in Edinburgh.


If I went for emaps this time I would insist to meet Simon as when I get andyf to map my car I expect him to do it and not say Andy at scoobyclinic?

Rick @ unicorn in Stockport is meant to be **** hot at custom mapping modern German cars.

I'm thinking of taking my audi to him, but I'm still snooping who to use.

I've got a bluefin (Superchips) map on my 2008 330d and it's great - 2nd 330d I've had and I've gone for the same map.

Pre-2008 models map to 274bhp, post 2008 to 313bhp.

I can't remember who said it, but a member called 'Tweaks' on here is supposed to be great at derv maps. Especially post DPF removal/non soot chucker maps.
