It's not a super car

I've had some stuttering ( best way describe it ) on deceleration in gear , I know it needs new rear axle ( coming) ,but is this likely to be axle or gearbox or something else

Some toerag drained the last one I had of petrol for his scooter, with the aid of a screwdriver. ( plastic fuel tank)

..600 quid later I was back on the road
