Default I'm an old git ...... Flat cap coming my way.

To the youngster on the site I'm proberly over hill in their eyes at 41.
However there is plenty of life in the old dog yet.

Now Im really showing my age. I always wanted a Porsche 911 but as my years increased my desire weakened and found myself in the classic sections.

My father had 2 model T's when he was alive and i remember the joy they use to bring him. So today after months and months of looking and searching for the right car I have finally put my money where my mouth is and purchase a 1911 Ford Model T.

Roll on the summer months

I'm 45 on my 5th Subaru, still muck around with engines of various types and making things go faster and helping my son and his mates out repairing their cars. Used to be into modding old fords etc years ago and now anything with an engine. I enjoy it and as long as I can still use the spanners and enjoy spirited driving I will do so, regardless of who thinks i'm too old.
Unfortunately my spirited driving usually ends up in a rebuild lol

Nice Car and it will turn more heads than any of the modern cars you have mentioned (Bar the 340R ). 41 though isn't that old these days and so I don't think you are over any hill, if you don't want to be

Enjoy the warm dry days

We'll done to you mate, the T looks superb I'm 56 now so that'll make you feel better!! I bought my Scooby brand new in 2005, it's got 18k on the clock, it's my pride and joy. In the eighties I built a 1927 model T albeit with a small block Chevy engine and all round independant suspension which I designed and built.

I reckon you could buy several Stis for the cost of that T. Does that count?

Awesome machine. Cannot see it being anything other than an awesome long-term investment.

103 years old, mind boggling.

Hats off to the OP for having the stones to drive that around. Speaking for myself though, if I was going to go for something that antique-looking it would probably have to be a Morgan.
