Following on from the sucess of todys run out to Portmerion, Wales, and the noted comments that all northern meetings are in the south, please post up when we can all get together to organise an event in the Lakes area

I am going to the Parbold, J27 M6, meet on Wednesday evening to discuss ideas with Chaos69 but as it is your stomping ground, you lot should be able to come up with a decent route that is not too touristy yet not to full of single tracks

let me know if this is going to be a go-er and we can maybe meet up?

Jon

I was thinking of some hill climbs - wrynose, hardknot, kirkstone, etc

Difficult to get the right roads that will not be full of caravans mind you, as the paln is to do it first weekend in October, should be pretty quiet

I don't usually socialise with other Subaru owners.

Might make an exception for this one though

Why Sunday,
All these runs are on a Sunday...........go on Saturday then youve got Sunday to get over it!
All I can think of on a Sunday is work on Monday,so it ruins my day
Just a thought.......

Sunday, is OK but start early to avoid the Sunday drivers.

Finish somewhere close to where you start, in time for lunch and then you've got the afternoon to recover and do other stuff.

Just my two-penneth!

Sign me up. You always need a Fugly in a convoy to make the other cars look cute.

I will be there

- I dont thonk you will get any caravans going up kirkstone pass or any of the other passes for that matter.

Lets get the dates sorted - it will be busy week commencing 18th October as the schools are off on holiday

Cheers

Yoza,
Crook road is a stunner. I used to go up and down it each day to work. Sadly it now has a 40mph limit on it and 30mph in one stretch and the coppers like to sit on the one long straight

(6.5mins from one white line to the other+loads of air time!)

Unhappy

Sorry Guys,

We're not going to do the road from Kendal to the Hawkshead ferry via Crook but plenty of equally good roads - check it out here
