Guitar Hero's on Later With Jools Holland
The usual pile of ****e is on the TV so I have gone back through the recording on the telly box and found the Guitar Hero's episode of Later with Jools Holland.
Blinding and this little gem was awesome.

Great clip although not really my style. Keeps the drummer busy!!

Would have watched this had it included bass players. 60s/70s I struggle with because I just don't know who's who, although I've been rocking to AC/DC tonight on my bass! (Only been playing 6weeks).
Watched a you tube vid of John Entwistle doing a solo before 'my generation' I think it was and bloody hell!!

I'm not naive or deluded enough to even aspire to play like him. I happy just playing the music I like listening to.
And my 30th was this year, so you don't need the patronising attitude towards me.

For those that have mentioned peter green in this thread.
Don't go and see him live now unless you want to be sorely disappointed. He's obviously just hanging in there needing the cash, just doing the very basics (and not very well)
Truly sad
Real hero of mine and wish I'd never gone to see him

yep born in `74 and i`d say about 95% my vinyl pre-dates when i was bron with a few exceptions,
No patronising or condescending attitude Ellie, David having a joke with me i expect We are just chatting about music, Nor was i implying you are deluded, Its great you have heard of JE nevermind being inspired enugh to pick up a bass, Most people born in the 80`s wouldnt have a clue who he is,
I saw him back in `97, In his first tour since his breakdonw in the 70`s, Cozy Powell on drums too
Yes I know John Entwistle is one of the greatest bass players of all time, and yes, it was 'The Ox'.

Saw Peter Green some years ago and he was really good, albeit a little out of it at times. Though some of his stuff is a little weird Jeff Beck has to be one of the best of all time.

I sometimes listen to Gary Moore playing some of those old classics and he is very, very good.
