In the next few days I've got to decide where to book in June for a stag do.

I went to Prague with 20 people last April and it was excellent, but we did spend a lot of money. I seem to remember beers costing about £4 in the "special interest" clubs.

I would book that again, as only one person who went with that group would be going again, but as I said it was a bit expensive.

I was thinking Krakow from what a work mate had said to me, but he's not been to Prague so he can't compare it, and I read one review saying "Prague it aint." But this was a review from 2007, so maybe things have changed?

I don't think anyone is looking for prostitutes, its mainly the titty bars and clubs.

Can people recommend me anywhere, that is cheap as well but not somewhere your too likely to get more bouncers than people in the titty bars.

Been to Krakov three times now, excellent place! Even the bouncers we found to be friendly enough, along with pretty much anyone else you meet. Beers very good and cheap to.

Some pretty good excursions to be had as well, AK47 Uzi etc firing ranges.

Do not bother with the salt mines, unless your into that kind of thing three hours walking around with the worst hangover looking at salt was a mistake IMO

Avoid Amsterdam at all costs. What about Tallinn? Gdansk? Berlin? (not so cheap though)

There are plenty of titty bars in the UK. Saves on the cost of a flight too.

Yes, but they are $hite compared to the Eastern European ones.

For the cost of a weekend in Krakov/Sofia/etc it's worth it, I dont think we have ever paid more than £250 all in (flights/hotel)

You can spend £100 easily getting a train to the other end of this country.

I had my stag do in Krakow...it was quality!
we had a local girl as out guide and she was cool came with us everywhere and really showed us the best night spots to go to.
We wandered around aimlessly for a few hours untill she met us (most clubs are underground) so you probably wont find anywhere decent just wandering around...getting a guide is a must

My brother organised it and we stayed in a 3 massive apartments (far t nice for lads on tour!) and it was a 10 minute walk into the main square. He booked us on the 'Beer, Babes and Bullets' tour...as I've always wanted to fire a fully automatic AK47 and it was everything I wanted

I took my wife to Prague to propose (we'd been together for 8 years) a few years ago and it was a much more picturesque place (does have it wild wild if you look for it) but then again all cities do if you look hard enough.

Lads tour = Poland....its MEGA cheap to once your there
I considered Berlin too but the guns pulled em to Poland

As best man I organised my mate's Stag Do to the TT races for a Fri-Mon over the middle "Mad Weekend".

The place is absolutely jumping, and a bottle of absinthe later made a whole 24hrs just a blur LOL .
