The year is almost over....
How was it for you?
Mine started off ****e but has ended pretty good. Moved into a really nice pad, settled more comfortablely into my job and realised how much I actually enjoy living on my own. Unfortunately I lost a very close friend recently, my Alfa due to the gearbox seeking independence but now I'm flying the **** VAG flag in a 350quid (it's only a stop gap honest) gumtree minty fresh Passat aestate in patchwork red! Other than that the year has just flew past scarily quick!
Miss spending time on NSR but I see less and less names I recognise and playing controversially viewed wind up gets tiring. Would be great to get the banter flowing on here again.
Hope you all had a great Christmas and have a great new year!

Was having a good year got myself my new Nismo had a great holiday
In Cebu and another great Nbo
Got promoted in my pt Councillors job to chairman of finance
One step off being the mayor !!
Then my main job the shop was burned down by arsonists and now having
To commute 80 miles per day half my salary and future uncertain
Probably be made redundant soon and well paid easy jobs are hard at my age
So this year has ended bad for me

Hasn't been the best year, but I try not to complain too much as I know there are people out there much worse off. Doesn't mean there haven't been times I have felt quite down, I just try to keep some perspective as hard as it can be at times.
I'll not be sorry to see the back of this year, and just really hope the next can be more settled, though I won't hold my breath.
On another note, nice to see you again Jamz.

First 9 months were pretty good. Finally had a holiday after 5 yrs without one.
We then had 3 months of hell.
Then the night of August Bank Holiday, my wife fell victim to acute pancreatitis secondary to gall stones and nearly died. She finally had it all sorted by December and hopefully returns to work in January
Whilst supporting my wife and running the the family and house, the incurred stress took a toll on my health and I suffered asthma and bronchitis.
We then had car issues. I also had a blowout in my car, and the week later, the other rear tyre suffered a failure.
My dog was diagnosed with Addison's disease, and then suffered infected *********, so had to be castrated.
My father in law nearly lost his leg to diabetes.
This was all before we started December!
The other good thing was my turning 40
Getting music recognized on BBC Radio, revisiting Peter Gabriel's studio and generally having a good year with music production and performance.
My wife also set up her own costume jewellery business
So mixed bag tbh. We're all still here to tell the tale! 2013 showed us both what great friends and family we've got.
2014? Will what we make of it. Therefore I'm determined that it's going to be a good year

All good.
Best holiday ever in Junein our camper.
Surfed a hell of a lot.
Immune system now working properly again.
Won a local race.
Our little boy is doing really well at school.
Business is pretty good too and we ordered the M135i.
On the downside, I continue to get older and greyer.
