Just made a website, any comments welcome
I've been working on this for a few weeks on and off and slowly building up the content.
Overall, as it stands, what do you guys think?
I suppose I want to know does it look professional enough to make you confident enough to buy online from it?

Overall: looks really good and professional.
Not sure about the red circular HM logo, looks a bit fuzzy. (That said, there's a larger version of it on the home page at the bottom and this one looks way better). Also not too keen personally on the font for Hobby Mounts but obviously that's subjective.
Front page typo in text: no minium order value
On the domain name registration you've just got your own name, a 'non-trading individual', and no address. So I'm not sure if I'm buying from a Limited company or not.
I looked at a few images (like the ones on this page http://www.hobbymounts.co.uk/shop/K-...ised-Aluminium) and when you click to get the larger version, the image popup is fine but the caption text below it is corrupted. (Strange, like overtyped ontop of itself). This is on Chrome on Mac OSX, if it's a browser thing.
In the privacy policy it mentions emailing sales@armysurplus.co.uk. This makes me think armysuplus is a sister site but there isn't a website at armysurplus.co.uk and the domain is registered to a different individual. So looks a bit unusual.

Who are you using as your merchant for accepting payments? I've recently added GoCardless payments, which is much cheaper than Streamline/SagePay etc.

Not sure why the text overlaps itself, it does it on my netbook and I'd hoped it was just me and my lo-res.
I borrowed the privacy policy from a friends site and amended it but obviously missed out his email address lol and I'll have to email my host to get them to change it to the business address.
Thanks for the input

I've incorporated SagePay in to my accounting software (Kashflow), as well as Go Cardless, so that I can email invoices out and the client can just click a button to pay the invoice, as a shopping cart doesn't suit my business model.

You are trying to gain publicity by way of name dropping.
I've learnt this is not good for business.
I'm a bespoke clothing manufacturer and the last thing clients want is their suppliers shouting out where they get their supplies from.
You could easily lose the BBC contract or custom just for this.
After all, it will not gain you custom nor is it any good for SEO so no point.
This is my personal opinion, whether you take it on board is upto you but what I can say is I supply many famous individuals and can guarantee they would not be happy if I started shouting out where they get their clothes made.
Let your customers find this out for themselves.

Looks professional
A few suggestions / comments:
On first glance, I was wondering why there were multiple $ icons. Had to hover to figure out which was CAD / US / AU.
I'd suggest either having a "Select currency:" popup (maybe use country flag and country name entries), or using country flag icons, or add the country name to the text (see below)
I would also suggest changing the ordering of the currency; UK, US, CA, AU would be my preference (depends on the primary market. If US, then make it US, CA, UK, AU)
The "Free UK delivery" icon should be a link to shipping / delivery info.
Delivery info section should include shipping info, for example, guidelines to costs for international shipping - perhaps add in the shipping calculator from the shopping cart onto that page.
Change country listing on shipping calculator to have the countries for which currency are displayed (US, CA, etc) at the top of the list, eg;
UK
US
Canada
Australia

Aaland Islands
Amend the Region/State to either Region/State/Province/Territory/County (Province's for Canada), or have smart code to detect what country is selected and change it from Region/State to the country specific variant, e.g.; for UK, change it to "County", for Canada change it to Province/Territory
Postcode text should be Postcode/Zip Code, or dynamically change depending on country selection.
Postcode field does not seem to check for valid entry of items, so you can add anything you like.
Think that's about it. Not meant to be a moaning old sod, just providing hopefully useful feedback

Ah I see. So if we say how wonderful it is that's fine, but if we don't then we are trolls.
Last night I was going to put a post on this thread as ecommerce websites is what I have mainly done for a living for the last 11 years, but I decided against it as experience has taught me on here that 11 years experience counts for nothing if you have read 'Websites for Dummies' and built a 3 page brochure site for your PC repair business or the likes.... the hassle just isn't worth it.
Your site is fine, but adequate is not an unfair description. If you think otherwise then fine.... it's only an opinion either way!
Good luck

Overall looks good. Got a GoPro and many accessories myself. The prices are just standard RRP.
