Just been to see this ...... I thought it was truly awful - that said, the wife thought it was good - so, what do I know!?

I find Owen Wilson annoying. he has become a light-hearted comedy actor, but so very typed that it sucks. Therefore, I shall be giving it a miss.
It has received poor reviews/ratings. Not surprised that you found it awful, because it must be. Mrs. Lewis might have been in a relaxed mood, or you might have taken her to the pictures after a long time, so that could be why she loved it.

Yeah, Mrs Lewis doesn't get out much - maybe anything would have pleasured her 
I wouldn't recommend it, I only went because it was FREE!!
