Fair play to him. Couldn't tell if the robber was shooting while the shopkeeper was swinging the bat. I don't think it's worth it to fight back against a gun.

How the hell did he not get shot? Why didn't the robber just stand back and shoot the guy instead of wrestling him?

You can see half way through if you look closely, the shopkeeper hit the gun out of his hand.

Because he's a tinted fellow from Chicago.
My experience of tinted fellows from Chicago is that they're not the brightest.
The shopkeeper did actually get shot by the way.

The shope keeper was an idiot - its not worth leaving your wife a widow and your kids fatherless for a few hundred notes. That said he landed some good head stikes

The shopkeeper is a very brave man. The robbers well deserved every blow that landed.
