We want to rent a cottage in cornwall for a week in July - pref St Ives but as long as its near sea/near some nice towns/near attractions etc we dont really care where.
Can anyone reccomend somewhere nice & good value for money. Its me plus wife plus 2 children so would like a cottage rather than a Hotel.
Any help appreciated
Thanks

My wife's parents have a small farm - half way between Redruth and Falmouth just outside a small village called Stithians - and the old barns have been converted into holiday cottages. They have cows, pigs, ducks, chickens and geese on the farm which the holiday guests' children always love. They are not by the sea but are about 10 miles to both the north and south coast, so pretty central. You can call them on 01209 860075 and ask for Mrs Bell to enquire and get a brochure.

I've just booked a weekend in Dorset using a company called Hidays.
They were very helpful and I can thoroughly recommend them.
They have loads of quality cottages on their books. www.hidays.co.uk
