Anyone know what this dealer is like?
Tried to get my car in Mill Lane b4 a trip to Cornwall but they are booked up. I am not far from this place while I'm down there and need to get my tracking done, otherwise I'll have to wait and go to Mill Lane when I get back.......
Cheers
Neil.

I've only ever used them for normal servicing & warranty repairs for which they were fine - no idea if they have a decent setup for tracking etc tho so you'd be taking pot luck.
If you're really in need of getting all wheels pointing straight why not take in a (big) bit of a detour to Powerstation on the way down

Had a problem with the P1 whilst on hols last week.
Stopped at MacD's @ Fraddon on A30.
Went back out , started car up and clouds of blue smoke and sounding rough as the proverbial badgers butt.
Drove 10 yards and pulled into Pub car park imagining Oil seals going , Turbo going etc etc.
Phoned Subaru Assist who sent a recovery bloke out.
20 Minutes later recovery turns up.
Starts engine to show him problem and voila no smoke and running normal.
He suggests we drop down to Roseland which were 10 miles away for a diagnostic check. I follow him down and go into service.
Asked for a diagnostic check and they said 'Sorry too busy - Can you come back tomorrow as I don't want to let my customers down.'
I Said sure I am only an hour away near St Tudy and I am only a customer of Subaru.
Phoned up next day and said I was bring the car in. He said 'Oh yeah the P6 Ok see at 2:00'
I said 'P1 and see you at 2:00'
I drove back down next day ( hour each way as I was taking it easy ) and they ran diagnostic checks.
They found 'Air Flow Meter fault It needs replacing.'
I said ' When will you get one in'
They said 'Saturday'
I said 'It's only Wednesday'
Rang Listers ( Worcester ) and they said they would have one waiting for me on Saturday as I drove past.
So I left Roseland and drove around ( slowly ) for the rest of the week.
Phoned Listers on Saturday, said I will be with at around 12:00.
They said well we leave then but we'll hang on.
Turned up at 12:03, jumped out of the car Spike jumped in , popped bonnet and drove car away. Came back 15 minutes later with Air Flow meter replaced and car running much smoother.
Sorry for the long winded reply but just trying to show the difference between dealers.
Roseland were OK but they are Subaru , Mazda and Ssang Yong dealers.
Listers - Went out of their way to help.

Sorry forgot.
If you are in the area the B road from Camelford to Bodmin is Sweet
The rubber should still be down

Thanx for the replies.....
Seems a mixed bag so I think I'll leave it till I get back and go and see Charles at Mill Lane who everyone seem to think are pretty good!!!!
Neil, if I'm passing and see the road I might just have to go for a spin down there, if you see some rubber on the road next to yours, you know I've been there

if you dont get it done in cornwall then i can recommend my dealer who is just off the A38 between Plymouth and Exeter - Ashburton Motor Works, at Ashburton surprisingly enough !
Very helpful and knowledgeable.
m8 of mine goes there to service his my99 as well, even though he has a dealer muuch closer to him.
have a chat with mervyn the service manager - he'll sort you out.
cheers
