I'm with RAC - never cancelled when I bought the Scooby. Cost is about £60 I think after 15% Motor Sports Association discount. I've been a member 15 or 16 years and found them pretty good. It did take a long time to get recovered from the middle of the Pennines when my mates Sprite did its clutch on the Illuminations Rally though....

Oh, and my brother phoned the RAC about 6pm on Wednesday because he couldn't get his Primera to start - RAC said it would take 5 hours to get someone there because of the snow (Bro: "but there isn't any snow here" RAC: "Yes, well, er, emm, its cold....)

RAC - first joined via web-site £65 for Personal membership for me & the missus. (Not homestart). They expected me to happily continue membership at £109 (I think) - No claims either !!!

I phoned to cancel and they seemed immediately able to discount it to £79 ! - Try it and see!

Red face

The Subaru assistance is for 36 months and doesnt expire at 60000 miles. The warranty does but the subaru assistance doesnt. It is with Mondial and is supplied with your car from 3 years of first registration. After it expires they invite you to rejoin.
