I recently bought Tesco's finest sausages. One pack with sweet chillis, one pack with spices and apricot. Sweet chilli ones are terribly thick-skinned. Both types contain much of chewy bits that are not supposed to be good for you. Around the same time, I heard the news about that horse meat contamination in their burgers. I am livid!

What does **** me off about Tesco is that there staff are lazy ******* for the price they get paid, I do expect them to bag my groceries and be thankful for being in a job rather than just slam my not yet paid for goods across a scanner then toss it to the side for me to pack.....and don't get me started on there incorrect pricing.

I really haven't been that bothered with the whole horse meat thing. I assume when I buy meat products from the likes of Tesco that the chances are it probably has something "extra" in it.....plus its a bit odd to worked up over eating X-meat when you are happen enough to eat Y-meat.
On the same note, I have problem with all the companies (not just Tesco) that say on their nut-less products- "May contain traces of nuts". What the..... ??? What are they playing at??? Either it does, or it doesn't! I mean, if you are allergic to nuts, what are you supposed to eat??? Food trading standards need to sort it out. It's wrong to cover their backs with little, defensive prints like that. If someone becomes sick with the traces of nuts in their non-nutty chocolate, they'll just tell you to sling it with- "See, I told you it MAY contain nuts hence not my problem". This is wrong IMO.

I have problem with their self-service checkouts. They are never fully and truly self-service. You always end up calling Tesco person for their service in our local one. Every so often, even for the simplest products like loose onions, the machine says - "Approval needed. Wait for assistance". You wait around like a loser for a Tesco magician to turn up and pin in some secret code. Then only the machine takes your onions for onions, not for some Tesco's finest diamonds or something. Ridiculous.
