Has any one done a tough mudder challenge ?
Interested to know if any of you lot have done one and what did you think? I've decided to enter in to one near me in may so hopefully it will make me get my **** back to the gym

I did the Salomon turbo-x a couple of years back at Brodon, a very similar mud-fest.
- Take a total change of clothes for the journey home.
- Wear running shoes you don't mind losing in the mud.
On a good day I can run a 6 minute mile. The last mile of that race took me 32 minutes...

Nine round here but do the odd trail race and off road (sea swim, MTB ride, trail run) tri. Some have been comically muddy!
And like SJ, the average mile times tend to be rather slow...!
Big coast race planned for August.
