I remember doing this. Was in tears thinking I wasted £3. then was extreamly happy when it downloaded again for free.

You have to buy a new iphone because once you uninstall an app you can't put it back on again, its to stop the operating system getting cluttered with bits of software that have been left behind. Its to keep the iphone running smoother and faster, makes sense really.

Or you could click on the App Store app and choose updates, click purchased and choose 'Not on this iPhone' and retrieve deleted apps from the cloud.
