Default Missing kids.... It's getting stupid

Breaking news on sky news right now... Small Asian (not that this matters) boy missing since 4pm today!

It's now 10pm and I thought they had to leave it 24hrs before the police would do anything.

Problem is the media is getting off on the missing child story they risk people ignoring the reports when there really is a child in danger.

Hate the media!

^^^ The Child Catcher scared the crap outta me as a mini kid. It was his face and the way he moved, etc.

A genius realised kid's villain.

Whatever his ethnic origin,I hope they find him safe soon.

Don't quite understand the point being made about 24 hours. Surely if he is missing then the quicker he is found the less likely he is to have come to serious harm.

Agreed but breaking news after 4hrs... I thought the police wouldn't even look unless it was 24hrs.

Think when it comes to children, 24 hours isn't applicable. I mean, would they be thinking a 4 year old lost track of time whilst playing XBOX at his mates house? Doubt it. He's got lost or has been taken, unlike a 13 year old who might well be at a mate's house or out messing about.
